Please reach out if you have any questions that aren't answered here.
(Pet only) listing will come with no papers. All (AKC registered) pups will come with (Limited registration). This means no rights to breed or show. The only time we ask for more, is if you want (Full Rights). This means you would have rights to breeding and showing your pup. (I reserve the right to either agree or disagree to this request.)
The short answer to this question is NO. The reason for this is because our first priority is the safety, and health of our pups and children. I do not know where you have been, or what other animals you have been around before you visit. This could have devastating effects on our litter and other animals. Also, there are unfortunately people in this world, who will come to a breeders home and intentionally cause harm, or steal puppies. I can not and will not risk my family or pets. I am happy to do phone calls, video calls, and such with you and your puppy.
This is a hard question to answer but I am asked this alot. There are way too many factors for any breeder to precisely tell you what your pup will weigh when they are mature. We try to keep our dogs between the 10-16 lb range. However, there are more factors than just what did the parents weigh? Just like humans, as dogs age they typically get more "fluffy" and can weigh more. I've seen miniature dachshunds weigh over 20 lbs due their specific lifestyle. When I do answer I will say what our adults weighed between 12-18 months. This is when they were done growing their frame, but before they were old enough to put on any extra pounds.
Once you have chosen your puppy and given your deposit, it is (non refundable) if you were to change your mind, or find a puppy elsewhere.
When picking up your puppy you should bring a blanket, pee pads, trash bag. If you are traveling pretty far, make sure to bring a food & water dish as well. Its always best if you have someone to ride along to hold the puppy. This is less stressful than using a crate but bring one if need be.
IMPORTANT!! When traveling with your puppy, please do not pull over & put him or her on the ground to potty! Your puppy is not fully vaccinated until they have had all their puppy vaccines, which should be around 16 weeks. They can pick up diseases that can, and will cause them death!
All puppies come with health records with proof of vaccinations. They will be also be sent home with a small bag of current food & other goodies.
Puppies should be ready to go at 8 weeks old. Some however need a bit longer and will stay until I see fit. They need to be fully weaned, have their first vaccinations done, and be eating well on hard puppy food before they can leave. You can not pick up your puppy before any of this is done.
Also, if you are planning a vacation, or can't come to get your puppy when pick up is due, it will be $15 per day that he or she needs to stay.
(I reserve the right to deny any buyer at anytime a puppy.) If I feel one of our babies would be in any harm or danger, I will refund your deposit and let you know the reasoning. It is in the best interest of our pups to make sure the go to only the best of homes and families. We raise them as our own and only want the best for their future!
(If at anytime you cannot keep your puppy even as an adult, please contact me first. We never want to see any of our Darling's end up in a shelter. No questions asked!)
